Robert Indiana is an American artist who participated heavily in the Pop Art Movement starting in 1964 with his iconic piece ‘LOVE’. Indiana often created bold and energetic pieces accompanied by short phrases or words. In addition to paintings and sculpture, Robert Indiana also made posters, prints, and designed stage sets for the Opera.
